Derek is a third generation residential designer.  He started off working for his father's design/build company as a general contractor in 1999.  He's helped build many homes, additions and renovations in the early stages of his career.  He went onto completing a three year advanced diploma in Architectural Technology in 2005.  He then worked for a drafting company for three years prior to starting his own drafting company, now in operation since 2008.
